Royal Vegas Poker Review

Editor’s Observations: When we first played Royal Vegas Poker we were very surprised at what we discovered. Part of the Prima Network of players, they share in the huge database of players making them the 3rd largest provider. There are many advantages to this volume, you’ll never wait for a table at a ring game or tournament. They have customized their software several times in the past couple years to create one of the smoothest, easy to use lobbies and tables anywhere. They offer an extensive list of Sit-n-Go’s, FreeRolls and tournaments. (See Promotions below). First Time Players will appreciate the “highest sign-up bonus” of any Poker Room. See the site for details. Royal Vegas Poker earned our Highest Recommendation right away!
Features: Huge volume of players, huge list of Sit n Go’s, FreeRolls and Tournaments, exclusive satellites. Wild and loose games with variety of stakes, but mostly the lower end makes this a FUN place to play. Bad beat jackpots start a $250 and go up $50/day. $30,000 BIG FreeRolls. High hand Hold’em bonus of $250 daily.

Game Variety: All the standard Texas Hold’em, Omaha, 7 card stud, 5 card stud, limit and no-limit pots for Hold’em, plus a lot of short hand tables of 5 or 6 players.

Software/Graphics: Royal Vegas Poker has a customized version of the Prima Software (created by MicroGaming) that has been updated several times to bring it in line with the finest anywhere. Very nice colorful graphics with a unique hand history feature to check back to see all prior actions, who raised, who called, etc. if you are playing at more than one table. Overall, nice smooth functional software.

Tournament Traffic: Big. Between 3,500 to 5,000 during peak hours. Plenty of tables available here.

Ring Game Traffic: Very large ring traffic at all hours, from 3,000 to 3,500 during peak.

Rake: Pretty near average but a little high in some areas. Pot and no-limit are raked at $5, limit games are capped at $1.50 ($1/$2) $0.50 higher than average. Tournament fees are 10% for $10 to $50, and 9% for $100 & up tournaments. A little high but acceptable.

Promotions: Royal Vegas really shines in the promotions department. WPT $17,000 satellite to Bellagio, lots of high value promotions with the emphasis on big FreeRolls, plus a minimum of 5-6 daily FreeRolls of a $1,000 minimums. A progressive bad beat jackpot that starts at $500 and goes up $50/day. And..a daily high hand Hold’em bonus of $250.00.

Bonuses: They boast “The Highest Sign-up Bonus” on the Internet (up to $1,000), 100% deposit bonus, and a $50 refer a friend bonus. Please check the site for all the details.

Support: Excellent phone support and e-mail support.

Deposit/Withdraw Options: Deposit via: VISA, Mastercard, ACH transfer, PrePaid ATM, Neteller, FirePay, 900 Pay. Withdraw: Neteller, FirePay, PrePaid ATM, Check.

Editor’s Recommendations: Royal Vegas Poker has established themselves as one of the real heavy-hitter Poker Rooms. We found no negatives and lots of pluses. First Time Players will feel comfortable and really enjoy the big bonuses offered. Veteran Tilters will enjoy the wild ring games and widely varying flop percentages. Lots of loose players offer opportunities to the First Time Player and Veteran alike. #10 on the fun meter! Our Highest Recommendation.
